A sexually awakening gay teen athlete finds himself in a budding relationship with his mutually attracted relay race teammate.

Dr John Epps (1805–1869) was an English physician, phrenologist and homeopath . He was also a political activist , known as a champion of radical causes on which he preached, lectured and wrote in periodicals . [1]

Epps, the eldest son of John Epps (see Epps family), [1] was born into a Calvinist [2] family in Sevenoaks , Kent in 1805. George Napoleon Epps was his half-brother. [3]

Epps became disillusioned with the religious atmosphere of his childhood. [2] After education at a dissenting academy and then Mill Hill School (near Hendon ), he served an apprenticeship to an apothecary of the name of Dury or Durie. [3]

Elton John and writer Paul Rudnick are collaborating on a musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada  for Broadway.

The show will be based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name, as well as the 2006 film, which starred Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep. The book and film follow Andrea Sachs, a recent college graduate who rises the ranks at a high-end fashion magazine overseen by the brilliantly cutthroat Miranda Priestly.

"Reimagining The Devil Wears Prada  for the musical theater is super exciting," said John. "I'm a huge fan of both the book and the feature film, and a huge aficionado of the fashion world. I can't wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture."
