Today‘s run takes us on a fun 11-mile tour of Girona‘s narrow cobbled streets comprising the old part of the city. Then run up narrow singletrack through the Gavarres Forest up to Sant Miquel Castle, at this point we will get a sight of many of the places we will visit in the following days, after a short break we return down back to Girona.

We begin our 13-mile day in Fitor Village. Running down through the forest we will meet Palamos Village. On our way to Llafranc we will pass by Margarida Fishermen huts, Cap Gros natural reserve and then one the region‘s most important ancient Iberian town sites. The we take narrow forest trails along the coast to reach hidden beaches accessible only by boat or foot. We cap the day at the fishing villages of Calella and Llafranch.

Today‘s 14-mile run begins with a visit to the light house El Far de Sant Sebastiá, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Then we follow forest trails along the coast to Tamariu, a lovely typical Catalonian marine town. Then we detour inland along a forest path to Begur, where we visit Begur Castle, then we will climb up the forested Quermany Mountains. Here we’ll take in the great views of the area and descend down the mountain‘s other side to the medieval village of Pals.
